Login Portals/Public WiFis not working

I saw a number of previous posts about this issue but when travelling last week and using both my iPhone and Laptop I wasn’t able to get onto the hotel and airport networks. 

Has the issue been fixed/updated in recent releases? Or is the workaround still to disable NextDNS until connected and then re-enable.

    The problem is likely due to a captive portal.    Turning off rebinding protection can often fix the issue, but so can disabling NextDNS, then do whatever the captive portal requires, then reactivate NextDNS.

    same here, puling my hair out with this issue and no clear fix.

    Have people wfh and roaming, this is a real headache, and no admin rights on machines to disable/enable the app to get thru initially.

    Trying to find out what the ip and or local domain is on the cowork officies they sometimes visit, se if whitelisting and/or rewriting manages to fix.77

    Any chance of a ssid/bssid local whitelist of sorts?

    Did you try disabling rebinding protection?
