Windows "No Internet Access" Error

I installed NextDNS on my Win10 machine yesterday. Everything seems to be working, but the windows network icon in the taskbar shows "no internet access". Some of my windows apps (e.g. outlook, tasks) also show "no internet", but still appear to be syncing. Any idea why this error is getting thrown and how to fix it?
