Change one thing at the time:
Locate the DNS settings inside the interface.
Remove all addresses (if any) then add 45.90.28.50 and 45.90.30.50
Disable IPv6, if that works try to add it later

Hi there! Just wondering if you’re using another privacy app/plugin/feature which masks dns; I had this same result when using the NextDNS website on my iPhone. My iPhone has a wifi setting that “hides my information” and it turns out Apple is using CloudFlare! Just something to check but I am sure you already investigated this avenue.

First, are you on a Mac or iPhone? If so and you have iCloud Private Relay enabled, NextDNS will show you are using "Cloudflare," because Private Relay runs through it. Test in Chrome on a Mac; it won't use Private Relay.
If that doesn't apply to your issue, is your Deco M4 connected to a modem that has its own DNS? AT&T Gateways, for instance, have a DNS that you will have to change. Changing it on the Deco won't do anything.
If nothing works, then you might just have to add the NextDNS app on your devices -- Mac, iOS -- or use profiles.
