Block banners in email

Hello.

Use:

I have configured integration with NextDNS on the router. The PC connects to the Internet via cable via a router.

NextDNS includes several blocklists on the Privacy tab

The Denylist tab includes:

*.ci3.googleusercontent.com

 

But when I open an email in gmail, I see a picture, a link to which

    I use Blogtrottr.  I am currently on a paid plan but started on a free plan.   My recollection was the ads were built into the emails (not linked).   You can check within gmail two different ways.   One: turn off “display ads”   Two:  in web interface (not app), use “show original” and look within the html code.   You should be able to tell if the ads are linked or hard coded.

    It's quite possible they have hard coded ads  AND have other elements that link back to google.   Viewing the html code should reveal everything you need to know.

    Only li.blogtrottr.com.

    And no googleusercontent. :-/

    Nothing has changed after adding *.li.blogtrottr.com to the Denylist.

    And li.blogtrottr.com is not displayed in the Log tab.

    I went to another DNS provider. They have the same problem. But through a long correspondence with them, they were able to decide. The problem was on their side. :)
