Account logins or chat features blocked with Encrypted DNS

I have a couple Spectrum accounts. I from time-to-time log into the accounts. I'm using an Asus AX-86U Pro router. if I just enter the NextDNS server 1 and 2 in the WAN section then I can still login to any spectrum account. But if I setup NextDNS using DNS-Over-TLS I can no longer sign into any Spectrum account that is using my home account with the Asus router. If I try to login to an account that is another location (granddaughter's house that I pay for) then I get "This feature is currently unavailable. Please try again from home or contact us for assistance. IDID-4002."  I spent some time on the phone with Spectrum... they can't figure this out. If I turn off TLS it will work.

Also if TLS is on, I cannot click on CHAT buttons on any web site. I can click on them, but nothing happens unless I get out of TLS and just use the non-encrypted NextDNS

    Thank you for posting this!  I was going nuts trying to figure out this "IDID-4002" error while trying to log into my Spectrum Business account from a remote location.

    I can confirm the error appears as well if/when you enable "Secure DNS" in a browser to use DNS-over-HTTPS.

    Unfortunately, for me, still doesn't work even after adding allows

       I did some further testing and came up with interesting results.  My primary browser is Brave and the allow additions solved my problem.  I launched Chrome and ran into the 4002 error.  Both browsers are configured with the same "Secure DNS" server entry.

      The only difference is Chrome has the uBlock Origin extension.  Once I disabled that, I was able to successfully log in with Chrome.

    @RetiredDude and @brian_curtis ,

    Thank you for the thread.  I ran into this issue a lot, and my default browser is Brave as well.  Changing settings did no good, but using Firefox does resolve the issue.  Posting here in hopes that it will help others who are battling bad internet and worse site management issues.

    I've been having this issue too, and determined that pov.spectrum.net was getting blocked by my pihole. After whitelisting this domain, everything works fine.
