GOOGLE CHAT BLOCKED

"chat" not working in Android 13 on Google Pixel 6. All other web services work fine.

Chat function does not work when connected to wifi router. Wifi router is using manual IP for DNS settings. (using the nextdns manual IP address within router DNS settings.)  Also  my own private IP  is registered with nextdns. All other web services work, with adds being successfully blocked. Only the google chat is not working, which I assume is using RCS

Chat function works when only connected to my cellular service with no wifi. Cellular service is using Android 13 DNS settings (accountnumber/dns.nextdns.io) Again, all other web services work and adds are still being blocked.

Go to Logs and reboot your phone. Open Google Chat and frefresh it 2-5 times. See logs again and check what is blocked...copy it all to Allowlist. Save and reboot your phone again

Just to clarify, the chat function in Google messenger which was blocked, was indeed using RCS. And I also dont feel that its my responsibility to fix something like this, if you would excuse me. But having all your text messages blocked seems like something which should not happen. Im new to this service so Im a bit sceptic as to how often I will encounter such things. I also dont wish to use logging. This is a feature which I feel is important to disable, and part of the appeal in using this nextdns service in the first place. I subscribed to this service in hopes that I would not have to manually operate my own DNS router using pihole, which frequently needs these types of block list adjustments, which again seems to be a fundamental reason of using this nextdns service in the first place!  :)
