    Somewhere it was posted that if an old expired domain comes back to life it won’t get picked up by NRD.   I’m not exactly sure why.

       Hey thanks, yes I've seen that too. But I could not find any previous register of this domain. 

      If NextDNS team finds it I would like to see it -and the source. 

      NRD is a critical part of the features it offers and if it does not work properly that is concerning.

        last time I tried to see past registrations i couldn’t find any public or official source.   There are subscription services that show past registrations, but it’s unclear to me how they obtain their data.

      I don’t know where NextDNS gets their data and why they aren’t using the same public data we all see.

       As an update, I have now tested again and the domain is blocked by NRD. I guess there is a delay between the site being created and being mapped. Should be faster, 48h...

       I agree.  It probably takes too many resources to check in realtime.   They must be doing it in some kind of batch process.
