Lots of nextdns log files being generated in home directory on Linux

Next dns is working for me i.e. I see my activity on the nextdns website.

But on my local machine its generating tonnes of log files on my home directory. These files all contain one row and list one IP address. The IP addresses are mine, my VPN changes my IP quite regularly, and it seems anytime it changes one of these new log files is created.

Any ideas how I can stop them being generated?!

nb I just setup nextdns yesterday, and am using Linux mint xfce
