ODoH Support?

When will NextDNS host their own ODoH server? It’s so small still but so is QUIC.

I couldn’t convince anyone with anecdotes so take a look at the tech for yourself - it’s open source and implementable from there (admittedly probably just from Cloudflare’s end with their setup but I don’t know code) and it’s definitely a major boost in privacy without sacrificing too much in performance.

    It doesn’t make much sense on a service like ours where all DNS queries are linked to a profile.

       hmm, I may have misunderstood but doesn’t ODoH conceal queries made to the ISP on the local side? Encrypted DNS doesn’t really aim to do this but since ODoH is meant to have a proxy and all, though I can see where it’d be pointless if the proxy is still just NextDNS

       the point of ODoH is to add a proxy (from a different provider) between the DNS provider and the client so the DNS provider can’t see the client IP and thus log queries per clients. Because we use profiles, and one of the major features of our service is to offer logging/analytics to our users, the main benefit of ODoH is lost.

       i can see that, and even thinking of suggesting that people could self host their proxies just leads to extra steps for the same benefit at a draining cost. I think I get why it wouldn’t suffice for NextDNS
