spotify video ads not being blocked
So I'm using Spotify on Windows 10 (the app not the website). The nextdns logs show it blocking the ads on Spotify but yet only banner ads are being blocked and video ads are getting through. I tried many troubleshooting techniques to fix the issue and still ads on Spotify. is there any way to fix this?
if not then I guess ill just stick to using Spotify on the web player with Ublock Origin.

This isn't possible as for same reason like with YouTube.
DNS can't handle website elements so it's not a bug.

oh ok, thank you for the info. I'll just use it with Ublock Origin on a web browser

caleb remember that browser extension decreases your security and privacy. You're also easier trackable.

In-stream video ads (like on Youtube) cannot be blocked solely at the dns level; usually you have to use an add-on/extension to block in-stream video ads
