Too many problems with the service

Where do I start..

Running Win11 (25h2) on a testing machine, created a profile and enabled few blocklists and some build-in protections.

Issue(s) descr:

Setting up nextdns in windows settings seemed (should) be easy step following the (recommended) guide (DoH), after applying the changes - now in the dashboard there is a new (yellow error) that device isnt using that profile. After some web searching and reading some of the suggestions here i managed to link it and complete with the setup. Until it wasnt - once linked there is no more DevID in the logs and some of the queries are with DevID some non-encrypted (or it shows that way) and some are with plain IP (no DevID), so i read it was issue with Windows 11 (which i wasnt surprised) and someone suggested to use their APP, so i though why not let the app do the proper configuration once and for all and get over with this. All good! (even in the web dashboard) - until it wasnt - on the next day i'm seeing some adds and something just not right - i open dashboard - This device is not using NextDNS. Meanwhile app is running and says "Status: started".. Restarting the app (even with simple Disable/Enable) fixed the issue, until the next day (today is the 3th day i am dealing with this) again disconnecting or.. w/e is happening.. then i though i'll try to troubleshoot a lil bit.

Disabled the app and closed it. Decided to try one more time with the default setup/settings - which resulted to almost the same outcome, then i decided to manually try to DNS Rewrite to see if the basics works - and what to see - no matter what i do domains are getting resolved, tried non-existent domains to other (known) domain and still it doesnt work. Also i couldnt quite understand what was/is that linking feature about and if i should care about it.. 

This was suppose to be a good solution for easy setup and not having to use other providers for... simplicity, control, logs etc.. but the service rn isnt working as intended and i dont have more time to deal with. I have on different location set up my own pi-hole and ad-guard home solutions in docker and i dont remember having to struggle that hard.. I see some benefits of using this service and i hope these issues gets resolved.
