DDNS failing

I have dynamic dns setup using an api that updates a specific public dns record when my public ip address changes, however when I enter the said fqdn into the ddns field it fails with some PATCH error. 

I can confirm im coming from the same public ip address I'm trying to use for ddns

    Be sure to not have space in front or at the end of the DDNS.

    No capital letters.

    I got a new router only to be able to use NextDNS and now this :(

       have you configured your router with the routing NDNS is telling you to?

      Have you then run the  little agent to get your "Linked IP"?

      Once that's green, did you then "Configure DDNS"?

      I learned the hard way I had to get the IP linked and THEN I could configure DDNS.

      I've had no problems since.

       You mean the `Linked IP` setting? Yes, I have that running. While I don't have DDNS, I did set NextDNS IP on my router and do the device linking from time to time. Definitely suboptimal.

      At this moment I have the IP successfully linked and still get the PATCH error.

       after several frustrated attempts, I was able to link the DDNS address today. 

      Very bad user experience, far from the bare minimum expected for a paid service. I'll consider other options before subscribing to NextDNS again.

    Same here.  I get the PATCH network error as well.  Was working fine until I wante to switch to a different domain.
