DNS over HTTPS Synology not working

I started noticing extreme load times recently. I went into my synology router and clicked test.. this is the outcome. i double checked the settings and everything has been working great for weeks but recently this is a headache. Any idea on whats going on? restarted router and same issue.

    Just to follow up, it has tested "sucessful" several times. Don't know what changed.

    now it works... then it doesnt.. back and forth..

    Hi C B,

    Did you find a solution or work around? I also found that it works very unreliably. as you wrote: now it works, now it doesn't. 

    I'm on Synology SRM 1.2.5 - 8227
