Startpage.com is blocked by safe search...
I might be wrong but Startpage should not be blocked any more than Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Ecosia, Yahoo, etc. are.

It's blocked because they don't support safe search as URL.
You can write them a message fixing it.
Until, just disable the NextDNS feature.

Hi! Sally from Startpage Support here...
We are pleased to announce that we recently launched Safe.Startpage.com, a feature that forces Startpage’s strict safe search settings. Safe Search is a search engine feature that acts as an automated filter of pornography and other potentially offensive (or age-inappropriate) content.
Force Safe Search at a Network LevelIf you’re making Startpage the default search engine at a company, school, library, or university, you can force Startpage’s strict safe search setting by updating your network’s Domain Name System (DNS) configuration. For network administrators, you can force strict safe search for everyone on your network by mapping startpage.com to safe.startpage.com. Mapping to safe.startpage.com will guarantee that safe search is enabled for all Startpage queries on the network, that client safe search controls are disabled, and the Anonymous View Proxy is not available.
I'll make an effort to contact the nextdns team more directly but wanted you to know about this newly reinstated feature. (It was formerly called family.startpage.com and disabled in 2019.)
To force safe search you will need to make a change to your DNS configuration. Set the DNS entry for startpage.com to the safe.startpage.com CNAME.
