Query count in Analytics page vs. Account page

On the Account page the total query count is about 66% of the total on the Analytics page.

Which number is correct? Or why the difference?

My log retention is set to 3 months, but my account is only a week or two old.

    The number used for the 300k free quota is the one from the account page. We dedup A/AAAA/HTTPS/… queries for a given domain. If you have IPv6 or some Apple devices on your account, it can explain the difference.
