DDNS not updating every minute

My domain name has the correct IP. I have waited a few hours now and my.nextdns.io is still showing my old one.

If I remove and re-add the domain name in setup page, then it updates to the correct one.
So seems like the schedule is broken, not that it can't actually see the correct IP.

Resorted to using the update URL on my router via a cron job and curl command for now. 😠

i just figured something out, if my router can't run scripts and I don't have a server in my house then an old smartphone running automate ar a similar app can do the job.

Yeah can't do it on a generic ISP router unless it can run scripts. Smartphone or something else that is running all the time can do the job.

Exactly, a brilliant solution. But still this needs to be checked. I'm personally using MacroDroid.

Indeed, there is a problem with the updating of the DDNS.

Interesting is that it doesn't work only on some configurations while working fine on others.

It is updating if you remove and add again the DDNS.

Maybe @NextDNS will take a look into it.

I tried removing and adding back, but it does not resolve the problem, unfortunately.
