Unregistered Devices not showing up in traffic.

I have a few devices setup via the client but I no longer see any traffic showing in next DNS from devices that have not be register since they can’t be.

The correct DNS servers are listed for my router as well as a dynamic dns via http. Not sure what’s going on but I want to make sure it’s filtering all traffic in the network and also would like to see it. It was fine a few days ago but now the unregistered devices don’t even show in the logs nor the traffic from them (firestick, Roku tv, etc).

Has your IP address changed? Maybe you need to relink your IP again.

my IP did change and I’ve updated it all. All registered devices show but there is no section for all of my devices that don’t have a registered profile (since they have to rely on the DNS from the router, which is setup to route to Next DNS). Not sure if there’s a bug in the UI.

The analytics page only shows the top 5 devices (I think it's 5 but might a different number). To get the other devices use the drop-down menu.

this all happened after clearing the logs. In the dropdown menu, I could see the registered devices and also the unregistered ones on their own tab. (I’m familiar with the dropdown). The dropdown no longer shows the unregistered devices anymore, only ones that are registered. Which means I can’t see any traffic besides those that are able to have a NextDNS profile.

Is it possible to check those unregistered devices by visiting https://test.nextdns.io see if profile ID is the same as your registered devices (or if it's getting any ID at all)?

I can try this but some devices are smart devices that don’t have a browser where you can check via the test link.

Before, all traffic came through nextdns, so even if it didn’t have a profile set up, it was recognized via the “unidentified devices” dropdown, but now this tab doesn’t even appear on my logs. I’m wondering if it’s something to do with the UI, since all other traffic is visible except for my smart tvs, smart devices and other devices using the network that don’t have profiles (or can’t have a profile installed).

I’d like all traffic to be filtered through nextdns but am not sure why it isn’t showing up anymore. Even when removing my iPhone profile, and using the correct dns severs via my router, there’s still no activity.

Are there any other Next dns servers I can use besides the ones listed to use with my router?

      ie. 45.90.28.73and 45.90.30.73.

Surely because you're connected to a VPN or proxy.

I am not connected to a VPN or proxy, nor are my other devices.
