Intermittent packet loss and DNS timeouts to NextDNS Brasília (IPv4 and IPv6), with Quad9 and Cloudflare comparison

For the past several days I’ve been experiencing intermittent DNS resolution failures with NextDNS from Brasília, Brazil. To isolate the cause, I set up SmokePing and probed NextDNS, Quad9 and Cloudflare in parallel, from the same host and connection, using both ICMP and real DNS queries.

• Location: Brasília, DF, Brazil
• ISP / ASN: AS28573
• Connection type: fiber
• ICMP probes: 10 pings every 60 s
• DNS probes: 5 queries every 60 s for google.com

During the same time window, from the same host and connection, Quad9 and Cloudflare showed 0% packet loss and no DNS failures. This suggests my local network and general internet connectivity are working normally. NextDNS, however, shows recurring packet loss over both IPv4 and IPv6, on the anycast addresses (45.90.28.1 and 2a07:a8c0::) and on the Brasília-specific addresses (200.25.16.72 and 2800:1e0:1600:1::8), so the problem does not seem limited to anycast routing. Could you please verify whether there is an issue at the Brasília PoP or on the path to it?
