Sign Up workflow is broken

I started using your service anonymously on my mobile (Firefox browser), then decided to sign up. Added email and a strong password. The signup process seemed to work, I could update my settings and my email address was shown in the upper right corner, everything so far as expected.

The I realized I did not receive an email for account confirmation.

I tried to log in to NextDNS on my desktop computer and was surprised that my login failed. I ask for new password via "Forgot password link". I receive email saying this was requested but I have no account but can create one.

OK I sign up again supplying email, name and a new password (name was not asked before!). This time it seems to work and my account is real (confirmed from both clients).

On the plus side, I did not lose any of my settings created during the anon period, but something is not OK with the workflow.

    The help forum (asking for email) is not using the same user account as the service (which does not require your email during sign-up). This is probably the source of the confusion.
