NextDNS stopped blocking restricted TLD on iPhone

Hi everyone,

I've blocked some TLDs on the web interface of my NextDNS account, along with other restrictions like a custom Denylist.

Everything was working fine when I used this configuration on my iPhone (updated), but I realized later that the blocked TLDs were not blocked anymore. The NextDNS app is also up-to-date.

The Denylist restrictions or the Privacy Blocklists restrictions are still applying, but all TLDs are working beside that.

Any tips on how to solve this ?

Edit. : I tested this configuration on another iPhone, I encountered the same issue.

    I'd say maybe try the Apple configuration file and remove / re-add the TDL blocklists. That should show if it's a problem with your end of their end.

    I'm also experiencing this behavior that started this past week. I had initially thought it was an issue with the NextDNS cli client and opened a bug report, but it may be a larger issue. The TLDs are randomly allowed or denied, and even that changed for me when I switched from WiFi to LTE (perhaps different NextDNS server being connected to?).
