Not able to add <mydomain>.myfritz.net as DDNS Hostname

Using a fritzbox I configured nextDNS sort of successfully (unfortunately still with DNS leakage), however, as I try adding my MyFRITZ! address from within nextDNS setup webpage it sais "There was an error while getting the IP address behind this hostname" - even though its working and I can log in to it on the fritz portal.

Tips?

       You didn’t describe from where you logged in into that portal.

      So it also works when you try it from a cellular network or someone else’s WiFi?

      EDIT: What happens if you look up the IP for that domain name using other name servers like 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, or 9.9.9.9?

       Mate, I appreciate your efforts but please: You asked if I can access it from outside the network. 2nd time answering the same: Yes. Can call the URL, ping it, trace it...  

      Simple question. Simple answer - which remains the same.

      Anyway, I am fed up with nextDNS. Gonna ditch it.

    Mine still just works @majortom perhaps try again, I've copied it from the FitzBox user interface into the NextDNS settings page

       Thanks. Its simpy not working and I am not willing to spend any more time on this sh*t. Wasted several hours now to get nextDNS working without DNS leakage with no success = useless to me since I can't trust it remains working.

       @nextdns is incredibly stable for us, only after AVM Fritzbox firmware updates need to tweak settings sometimes.
