Discord isn't resolving on NextDNS, NOT BLOCKED

Not sure what's going on here, but Discord is failing to resolve with a DNS related error message, but it's not blocked in my logs? Not working for web client, desktop client, or iOS client either while on the NextDNS servers.

Between this issue and the (double) latency of being rerouted to Dallas instead of Atlanta while being on the East Coast keeps up, I may have to terminate my NextDNS subscription.

Already tried /flushdns and all that jazz, works when using ISP DNS, does NOT work on NextDNs, so this is clearly a NextDNS issue. Thanks!

Multipple domains on my dyndns account (dyndns. org, ath.cx, mine. nu etc) are getting resolved with old /wrong ips and I can't acces my servers or vpns, switching to Google dns for test resolves the issues..

Maybe issues is the same as discord?

    Same thing happening here.

Slack is also blocked in the same way. Both domains show are resolving / good in the logs, but they don't.

Whitelisted both domains - didn't help, they still were not resolving.

Switched to Cloudflare and immediately worked.

BUIS Try disabling DNSSEC on your router if it's enabled. Resolved the issue (temporarily?) for me at least.

I'm getting similar issues with my new config

I just disabled DNSSEC on my router and discord.com is loading again. Cloudflare never had an issue with DNSSEC enabled on my router. Also noticed in the analytics that DNSSEC % was over 35%, but before Christmas it was less than 5%.

J Tan Looks like this resolved it for me too. Same effects, it worked with no issues before and after disabling DNSSEC, Discord loads again.

Similar here. Discord is not resolving. Slack is not connecting.

No issue on my side and I have all NextDNS options and blocklists checked.

Pierre Cartier Interesting. I am thinking DNSSEC because I advertise Unbound as my resolver to my network, and that forwards to NextDNS, and I had seen something about disabling DNSSEC on Unbound as NextDNS handles that. Am going to test with my clients pointing direct to NextDNS and removing my resolver from the equation.

Rob Gormley Another User in this thread said that disabling DNSSEC on their router allowed the site to load, even though it loaded previously without issue.

Can't tell about DNSSEC because I have an Airport Extreme 6Gen and such option isn't available on it.

Having the same issue here. I have even whitelisted Discord and on the logs it says that discord is in the green but still says can't be reached and the moment I disable DNSSEC on the router it opens up.

I forgot to mention I tried reenabling DNSSEC on the router to other DNS providers like google and cloudfare and discord is able to open. When I put it back to NextDNS's DNS, discord goes down once again.

I have the same problem. I have cancelled my paid subscription for now, because I just can't find a solution.

I had the exact problem, and it was driving me crazy.  As stated, disabling DNSSEC on my router fixed it...

Hey everyone, I was playing around with the filters and somehow I removed OISD and switched it with HaGeZi as shown with the screenshot and when I enable DNSSEC on the router again, I am able to launch discord and also don't get that DNS address could not be found. Can someone help me test this too? Thanks a bunch :D

There should be a debug view, where I enter a domain and it should tell me which list is blocking it.
