Terminal in Linux can not resolve host / unknown network error

I've installed the NextDNS Command-Line Client in Pop!_OS 20.10 and it works fine. There's an issue tho with the terminal I'd like to resolve. It displays an error after every single command. Basically telling me it can not resolve my computer hostname. An unknown network error.

What should I do to fix this?

So, I still have this issue. Does anyone have a solution maybe?

The error I get after typing an SSH command:

unable to resolve host MYHOSTNAMEHERE: Temporary failure in name resolution

Seems like this mainly happens when I use sudo?

Mango Tiger add your computer hostname to /etc/hosts on the localhost line.

Olivier Poitrey that solved my problem. I now also know the root cause. I've changed my computer name after the installation but for some reason Pop OS did not update my hosts file.

      Thank you!
