Wrong DNS resolver

Hello,

I have Avast installed as my antivirus, I disabled any DNS change protection by the App.  On the next Dns site avast is still shown as my dns resolver. My OS is Windows 11. I can‘t start NextDNS it is not establishing a connection in my DNS settings it is shown as active but it says my ethernet cable is not correctly connected. I can go into the internet. Maybe some of you have an idea what I could try. :)

kind regards

juliank I can‘t really figure out how I want to keep Avast as antivirus and I can‘t get it to work. Can I delete the network profile? And if how? Thanks for your help

juliank I looked in the protocol and it shows my device with the newest connections and shows for example trackers as blocked.

ADAC reset your system as it’s broken thanks to Avast.  Also stay away from it.

juliank it is even the best and only recommend solution for Windows. Harden it with ConfigureDefender tool from AndyFul for best protection.
