Slow media loading Reddit/Twitter/YouTube

There's been a noticeable degradation in loading pictures or videos on the above websites even while using NextDNS. I've found threads related to it being ATT DNS, but since I'm using NextDNS, I'm not sure that would apply? Fastly indicates all services are performing as normal. Anyone have suggestions on what could be causing it? Perhaps a NextDNS related issue to the EDNS?

There could be many other reasons, not related to DNS, that would account for some assets being loaded slowly.    It could be congestion at a router between your and the server.  It could be an issue with the server itself, especially if it’s part of a CDN and you’re connecting to a bad one while others are connecting to a better one.   You’d need to do more diagnostics using dig or nslookup to see if dns is causing problems or traceroute to see what’s going on with routers and possibly get packet captures to see if there’s an issue with the remote server
