"Goodbye Ads" and "StevenBlack" block Google RCS and Youtube Search History.

I have finally discovered the source of my issue and it is embarrassing. The "Goodbye Ads" blocklist in NextDNS was the culprit. it was blocking these important domains, which makes rcs unable to recieve unless messages is opened.

and xiaomi has a couple of extras too.

app.chat.global.xiaomi.net

resolver.msg.global.xiaomi.net

after unblocking these my issue has been fixed. 

On a Sidenote, removal of "StevenBlack" and "Goodbye Ads" sources as it seems you cannot selectively unblock needed sources for YouTube search history from them which are

s.youtube.com

youtubei.googleapis.com

firebaseinstallations.googleapis.com

please allow better management of allowlist so we can allow sources through completely.
