What is a blocklist?
A blocklist is a list of domains to block. Usually, a DNS resolver is supposed to always respond with the answer intended by the operator of the domain. But some DNS resolvers are said to be lying resolvers, as they sometimes hide the truth. Some resolvers operated by ISP are lying resolvers as they have to implement some form censorship dictated by their government.
NextDNS is another form of lying DNS resolver which can turn its lies to your advantage. By default NextDNS will never lie until you ask it to. In the NextDNS configuration dashboard, you have the choice to enable special purpose blocklists that can be used to block domains of certain types, like domains used by advertisers and trackers, or domains used by malware and phishing campaigns. When such blocklists are in use, your browsing becomes safer, faster and more private.

Blocklist help you with open source developers manually or auto figured links that generate ads, traders, malware etc.
Use blocker to improve security, you will find such blockers in Adguard or Blokada apps and its rare to see such blocker in DNS protection but both apps are local protector.
The NextDNS is the Sole DNS protector that has DNS filter name Block list.

If you're using nextdns on PC then make sure you flush DNS after update/change in NextDNS to see immediate effect.

what a good list to use on nextdns for all device i use a router with ip thanks use next dns want a good list for block list thanks goin g into cyber security also thanks ray

Ty for understanding me with high spectrum autism this Cybersecurity bs in online college for them kaster of Cybersecurity so trying to set it up with good list never did this first time. I also pay for nextdns.io pro so know. Ty mohit for helping added these.

Do you really need to add more blocklists beyond the default one ??
It is not clear if there are duplicates between the different lists?

I have had issues with being blocked from the localhost. All the ports will say loopback or tum.
