Parental Control | App & Categories are only blocking the main site URLs.

Under Parental Controls I'm trying to block Video Streaming. I've tested both Categories and Apps based blocking, and the result is the same.

In the screenshot I'm accessing HBOMax from a browser first. Which is blocked because the URL is hbomax.com and www.hbomax.com.

However, once I open the HBOMax app on a phone or a TV, everything works perfectly fine, and I'm able to browse and stream content without issues (which obviously isn't what I desire 😟)

It is the same for Disney+ and Amazon Prime.

The only service I've found this blocking to be working for, is Youtube and Netflix.

The most straightforward solution to this would be adding all of those IP addresses manually to the Denylist of your NextDNS profile.

Michael Budow True.. I could add *.hbo.com etc. manually as denied domains..

However, it does kinda defeat the purpose of the Apps / Category based blocking.. And people might get a false sense of "security" thinking "when I block all video streaming, the kids wont be able to play Disney+", when in fact, the apps on the phones streams happily away.
