NextDNS Profile, MacOS App, and LuLu

OS: MacOS Monterey 12.2

Issue:

First installed the NextDNS Profile in System Preferences > Profiles, and it worked.

I then got LuLu installed and I just noticed when I logged in to NextDNS, my machine is using my local ISP's DNS resolver and not NextDNS. I have seen the known issue about NextDNS Profile and LuLu (or Little Snitch) so I removed the NextDNS profile and downloaded the MacOS App. But when I try to open/run the app, nothing's happening.  It's not opening.

    Update: I am new to MacOS. Didn't notice NextDNS app is running in background and needs to be enabled. My bad.

    Only issue left is using NextDNS profile with LuLu instead of the MacOS app.
