Philips SleepMapper app blocked - Requesting assistance
To whom it may concern,
I am using NextDNS on my home network and experiencing issues with the Philips SleepMapper app for my HF3670 sleep therapy device. It seems NextDNS is blocking some of the app's functionality, preventing it from working correctly.
I believe this might be due to NextDNS filtering rules interfering with the app's communication with Philips servers.
I've considered workarounds like extracting the device's IP address through my router and creating a domain whitelist entry on NextDNS. However, this appears complex and raises potential security concerns.
Before attempting those complex solutions, I would appreciate your guidance on possible alternatives.
Specifically, I'd like to know if:
- It's possible to whitelist specific IPs or ports used by the Philips SleepMapper app.
- There are other recommended solutions to ensure the app functions correctly while maintaining NextDNS protection on my network.
Additional Information:
- Device: Philips HF3670
- App: Philips SleepMapper
Thank you for your time and assistance.

Logs are your friend. DNS has no awareness of ports
