iOS 17.0.3 app opens and crashes

Help please! I have the NextDNS iPhone app installed on  iOS 17.0.3.  The app opens and then crashes and therefore it can’t be used. I can’t remove the app to reinstall either, only allows removal from Home Screen and adding it back to Home Screen. Stuck as what I can do to fix this… recently moved to this phone from iPhone 8 where it worked fine, restored backup to iPhone 13 Pro with newer iOS. Thanks

    The app works fine on iOS 17.0.3. What you're describing sounds like you haven't removed the app from your iPhone.

    Swipe left until you get to the App Library. Type NextDNS in the search and then long press and select Delete App. Then reinstall from the App Store.

       thanks for your reply but I was unable to remove the app from the phone due to historic parental controls. I completely forgot I had blocked the deleting of any apps. Once I enabled this, I removed the app and simply re installed it and it worked fine!
