How lock NEXTDNS app on Android to avoid kids disable it

I am looking to use NextDNS as a way to keep kids' Android phones safe. On iOS, I noticed NextDNS could be protected by a password. Is there any way to password protect NextDNS settings on Android to be sure that it remains on at all times?

    I use a free app to do this for any other app on my Android phones. I use it to protect any app that could be used to make a purchase, has sensitive content, or could change the way the device is configured.  You can protect individual apps or even the system settings.  If someone gets my phone, they'd need my code or fingerprint to make changes or purchases.   

    There are several like this one, but I've used AppLock for years - it just works and is not easily (if at all) bypassed:

    I am new to NextDNS (3 days testing so far), thank you for those who suggested the playstore apps. Does anyone know if native support to lock/protect the NextDNS app is on the roadmap?
