Ability to add custom notes/tags to blocked domains/trackers
Hi everyone,
I’ve been using NextDNS to manage my network traffic, and I’m really enjoying the control it provides. However, I’ve run into a bit of a management challenge.
When I see a blocked tracker or domain in the logs, it’s often difficult to remember which specific app or service was responsible for that request. It would be incredibly helpful to have a "Notes" or "Tags" feature for individual domains in the logs or in custom allow/block lists.
Why this would be useful:
Context: Being able to label a domain (e.g., "Linked to App X" or "Related to System Telemetry") would make it much easier to decide whether to keep a block or allow it.
Troubleshooting: It would significantly speed up the process of identifying why certain features in apps stop working when a specific domain is blocked.
Organization: It would turn the logs into a much more readable and actionable list.
Even a simple text field next to the domain entry would be a huge improvement for power users who frequently audit their traffic.
Is there any chance of implementing something like this, or is there an existing way to achieve this that I might have missed?
Thanks for your hard work on this service!
