Suddenly nextDNS is showing Error Unhandled "mismatch" case?

I am far from hitting my limits...my adguard suddenly stopped working and the logs were showing

ERROR response received addr=quic://XXXXX.dns.nextdns.io:XXX proto=udp status="reading response from quic://XXXXXX.dns.nextdns.io:XXX deadline exceeded"

And the web GUI for nextDNS is showing Error Unhandled "mismatch" case

What is going on?

    Try using DoH instead of QUIC temporarily, see if it resolves the problem.

    Thanks RPM, I already had DoH as my backup option previously so both were failing...

      Maybe it was one of your local PoP servers having a problem.

      Visit ping.nextdns.io might show it or not.

      Either way you could always specify one of your local servers by using dns1.nextdns.io or dns2.nextdns.io in your strings instead of using just dns.nextdns.io
