NextDNS Android app sporadically switches off

I have an issue with the Android app randomly switching off the DNS and reverting to the mobile carrier's DNS. This seems to happen once every couple of days without me doing anything or restarting the phone. I only notice it when the ads start appearing on web pages again.

    It could be that a battery preversion services does that, xiaomi is one of the phones kinking it out. You could also use the private dns settings if present, check for the possibilities on the configuration page.
