NextDNS with UDM Custom Config - HELP

I am trying to set up just one VLAN on the UDM Pro to be linked up to NextDNS. I tried to install NextDNS from my Mac Terminal and its auto-configured 2 NextDNS IDs to different Mac Addresses and VLANs. I want to undo the default configuration and have just my one NextDNS ID linked to the one VLAN that I want to be filtered.

I need some sort of video or step by step bc I tried following https://github.com/nextdns/nextdns/wiki/Conditional-Configuration but it does not do anything and just throws errors

I think you have to edit the config file directly to remove a conditional setup you previously configured.
    File might be located /etc/nextdns.config

Torah Ohr On a computer it's easy but not sure how telneting into a router. Might be best to just delete the config file and do the install command again.

      Check the file location with:

      ls /etc

Then once located delete the file with:

      rm /etc/nextdns.config

Or whatever the path to the config file is.

R P M Is there any other way?  I don't see a way to actually access the files on Unifi Cloud Controller

There has to be a way to simply make a terminal call to overwrite and or remove Configs. I simply want NextDNS to apply to ONE VLAN only

      Torah Ohr Maybe try this:

      nextdns config edit

I didn't like using that because it kept using vim which I'm not familiar with whatsoever and is not user friendly at all.

R P M I tried. That only allows you to add new ones... not remove them. I'm stuck

Torah Ohr How about setting a previous config to an empty ID? Or does that just add another option?

R P M It needs to be a valid config so the best option is to buy a new nextdns account to assign to the unfiltered vlan

Torah Ohr See other reply, new account not required for new config.
