NextDNS + ProtonVPN - How to get it to work correctly?

ProtonVPN + NextDNS was working I cant put a specific point when it stopped working but I'd say a few weeks ago it was working fine.
Using ProtonVPN and using ProtonVPN's custom domain and inputting nextdns's DNS ip into it.
On the Windows 11 Computer I have another nextdns profile and then when connecting to protonvpn one specific to that. As I dont think it will work with just 1 profile maybe it might but from my tests I think having a sperate nextdns profile for protonvpn is better.

The VPN ip is 146.70.202.3   but the last number .3 changes to .4 .5 .6 so linked ip is abit useless even when I've set in protonvpn to only connect to that specific ip.

Ive tried YogaDNS but getting errors. NextDNS windows app well doesnt seem to work either when I conenct via VPN im guessing ProtonVPN's DNS takes prescedence.

Overall nextdns has been great however will be looking into spinning up adguard home on a vm locally.
