Strange app behavior on mobile devices
I configured the IPv4 and IPv6 NextDNS servers on my home LAN's firewall/router. On mobile devices, certain apps like Discord, Reddit and Charles Schwab hang when I attempt to open. I believe this is DNS related. I do not see blocked domains in the NextDNS UI. Strangely, if I enable NextDNS DNS in the app on the mobile devices, the problematic apps open with no problem. This is confusing to me because my understanding of how the NextDNS apps works is that it only forces the mobile device to use NextDNS DNS servers which they should already be doing because of DNS servers received via DHCP/DHCPv6.
Any ideas on what might be going on here? What troubleshooting steps should I attempt? Is my understanding of how the NextDNS app works incorrect?

Hey Jeff, I just ran into this issue with Discord on my iPad and iPhone. I'm not sure if you ever found a fix for this but it turns out (as you may have already noticed) while Discord isn't being blocked, it acts like it is and the apps never connect. It connects just fine on my desktop as well. It's a bummer it's just radio silence from the NextDNS team on this, however, I was able to log into both my apps on both iPad and iPhone by simply logging out first.
Once I logged out, I was able to log in as normal.
Hope this helps anyone else that runs across this. As has been stated in multiple forum and Reddit posts, there's nothing being shown as blocked so I don't think it's a DNS issue. Discord must be doing something funky with DNS.
