Automatic DNS Latency Benchmark & Best Endpoint Recommendation

Hello NextDNS Team,

I have an idea that could improve the user experience for many users.

Currently, some ISPs perform much better with one NextDNS anycast subnet than another. In my case, the default subnet had noticeably higher latency, while the secondary subnet reduced it significantly.

It would be great if the NextDNS app or setup page included a "DNS Benchmark" feature.

The feature could:

Test the latency to available NextDNS endpoints.

Compare the available anycast subnets.

Automatically recommend (or optionally select) the fastest endpoint for the user's network.

Allow users to rerun the benchmark whenever their network changes.

This would eliminate the need for manual testing and help users get the best possible latency by default.
