NextDNS app no longer requires a passcode

With the last iOS update the Next DNS app no longer requires a passcode to enter.  This make is useless as a parental control service.  Please reinstate the pass code on the NextDNS iOS app!!!!!

it is an option now... I reported it days ago - update to version 3.0.2, swipe up from the middle - then you will see require passcode, toggle this on, choose the type of password you want, close the app and re-open. There is now a bug though, the keyboard has overlays with numbers.

       I think that’s because it’s a passCODE and not a passWORD.

      they are both passcodes.

the screenshots seem to only be showing the difference between setting the passcode vs accessing the app after passcode is set?

could you please help us understand what the bug is? The screenshots you shared all look as intended. If anything is unclear, please let us know what you expected and what you got from the app instead.

Yes - if you look around each number - there are halos along the perimeter of each number - if you look at number 7 and 8 for instance, the double halo droops at bottom of the number whereas the number 7, there is no droop at the boom of the number. When setting the passcode within the settings of the app does not have a halo.

in the settings we don't use liquid glass treatment as there is no transparency (it wouldn't look good). On the app actual lock screen, we are using liquid glass, which creates those refractions. This is on purpose.

Okay, if this is expected behavior, great to know. Capturing this is the software release notes would be a great way to communicate this to end users.

This post can be considered resolved.
