bypassing DNS block on a VPN

hello, im trying to use a vpn on a certain game but DNS queries are routed through their server. This makes it so my device cannot contact the DNS of the video games, and as a result their services are not reachable for me.

how do i configure a VPN to allow the games DNS servers while safely protecting my IP?

    If the VPN provide downloadable OpenVPN/WireGuard config, load them to Windscribe app and use your NextDNS DoH/DoT address in Windscribe custom DNS config.

       im not familiar with any of that to be honest. is there a VPN provider that can bypass this DNS block that is happening to me?

       Windscribe is a VPN provider themselves, so you can just use them directly. Mullvad also provide downloadable WireGuard config.

       i have purevpn along with ipvanish. i believe they both have wireguard as a protocol but i do not see a download option next to it
