Android - NextDNS + Microsoft Intune work profile doesn't work

Hi, I have a work profile that requires to enable intune for the work profile.

As part of it, it requires Microsoft Defender with VPN enabled.  

When nextdns is enabled, the work profile can't connect to the internet .I get an error message that the private DNS blocks internet access, and no apps work

The non work profile apps work great though.

There is nothing in the logs when this happens.

I haven't seen a setting to improve this.

Any ideas?
