Mail Privacy Protection in iOS 15
Hello — is there any way to have both NextDNS and Mail privacy protection on in iOS 15? It only works when I disable NextDNS completely (and there’s nothing in my logs that looks like it’s being blocked).
thanks!

Seconded.
I’d rather not have to choose between Mail Privacy Protection and NextDNS.

Appears to be resolved or a work around deployed? More info available where?

I'm not seing any issues with it on 15.1

Looks fixed with iOS 15.1

The problem is back. Looks like something changed on NextDNS side or Mail Protection doesn’t use workarounds anymore.

The problem persists indeed, on macOS as well.

This is not fixed. NextDNS profile interferes with Mail Privacy Protection on MacOS 12.3.1.

This is peculiar. Apple Mail Privacy Protection (which is what this thread is about) seems to be working fine on my iOS devices, but not on MacOS Monterey. Monterey Mail tells me "Your network preferences prevent content from being loaded remotely." These devices have the same network config, using a local NextDNS CLI server.
The issue is complicated because Mail Privacy is related to iCloud Private Relay, both of which hide IP and other info. Under Network settings on Mac (WiFi for iOS) there is another checkmark for Limit IP Tracking. When I deselect this, Mail Privacy seems to be working in Mail on Mac. Grrr.
