Linked IP not updated by the DDNS

Hello Team,

 

I'm encountering an issue with the linked IP.

The linked IP is not updated by the DDNS although the DDNS record is updated by the router's IP.

 What is the issue here ?

    You're not alone. There have been a few posts about this, and I am experiencing this issue as well.

    Someone wrote about it first on this forum one month ago. Here too.

     

    Hopefully, someone from NextDNS will notice and fix this soon.

    Meanwhile, you can use some automation as a workaround with the link under "Show advanced options". All you need is an old unused Android.

    Hello,

    You are marking the issue regarding IP address resolution through DDNS as resolved, but the IP associated with the DDNS no-ip.com (client.ddns.net) is once again not refreshing.

    Is there a way to specify the IP address in https://link-ip.nextdns.io/<ID>/<Token>? This network is in a remote area, and I don’t have regular access to it.

       you can specify a remote address for security reasons. It is probably also the reason why DDNS does not refresh as it will refuse an update to a different ISP.

      If your router or a host on the same network is able to run a crontab, you can just refresh it with a curl.

       This issue was resolved for a few days ago. However, it returned again now.

      Please fix ASAP.

      As I need to purchase the unlimited queries and this issue prevents me.

       Really? Did it work? For me and for tens of other users it has been broken for weeks.
