Analytics numbers vs. free quota limit of 300k
Hi team, community,
I have nothing against subscribing, I like the service actually.
But I am wondering about the descreptancy between the stats and the quota warning I received? Based on the analytics, I was quite sure I am under the free quota, now I am confused.
Anyone has an explanation?
Thanks in advance

Analytics are made from the logs, if you delete the logs (what you obviously did 1 or 2 days ago) there are no analytics, it will start from 0.
The number of the queries from the https://my.nextdns.io/account is the one that counts.
Also, I'm wondering why some people are confused about monthly limit and analytics showing different numbers when they are different things.
Monthly limit reset to 0 on 1st of the month and you have until the last day of the month to use the limit.
Analytics are for periods of time, last X amount of time. Even if you will check in the 30 of the month it will be a different number, they are removing some queries from the amount you have.

Also, analytics are separated for each profile, if you have more than one... So you have one account which will count from all the profiles while the analytics keep track only on the each separate profile (as long as they have logs to analyze).

Thanks. I have only 1 profile, but yes, my logs retention is 1 day only. I didn't know the metrics were not aggregated and saved - that was my assumption.
