Downloading Logs fails after 1.8 GB

I am trying to download the past year's worth of logs with a stable internet connection but the download fails always at 1.8GB (browser says 'network error' for the failure reason). I have tried in Firefox and a chromium based browser with no difference. Is there another download method or a workaround?
