configuration status not stable

here we go again by this issue

I noticed that the firewall isn't working and by checking my setup page it keeps telling me "This device is using NextDNS with no configuration" and sometimes "all good"

    Could be your Browser, Dynamic IP not syncing properly over DDNS or if you use an Apple device, Private Relay could cause this.

    If it's on an Apple device with Private Relay it still works  but doesn't show properly because of problems on Apples end from what I've seen on the forums. I'd recommend using the Apple Configuration profile in that case and ignore the status until Apple fixes it.

    If it's because of having a Dynamic IP, using Encrypted DNS if possible or DDNS should help and fix your issues.

    If none of these apply to you, could be your Browser so on Chrome and Chromium browsers, applying the DoH to Private DNS settings should ensure that the browser doesn't use anything else. You can also do something similar on Firefox / Firefox Based Browser.

      Hey  yea I know all that and everything was good till I started to use my devices 2day.. I found this issue. everything was stable before.

      kirollos sameh Interesting, when it happens, you could do a DNS leak test to see if it's still using the NextDNS server, could also be a bug that happens with the Browser / Site.

      Hey yes by the time the outage happened my DNS leak test clarifies that I'm on nextdns age it's only a configuration outage 😏
