NexttDNS stops working after switching networks

Hello,

Let me begin by saying that it is Mildly Infuriating that paying customers have no dedicated support system and have to rely on forum to get help.

Since a few days, while switching between Home network and Mobile network, NextDNS iOS profile stops working. As you can see from the attached screenshots, if I switch between networks, NextDNS fails to recognize the configuration and stops filtering DNS altogether.

 

Is this an ongoing problem or just me?

    You should check to see if you have Icloud Private Relay enabled. Secondly delete the current configuration and download it again, there was an update made a while ago so could possibly help. After doing the two, hopefully your problem should be solved. If not, we'll see what else can be done.

      Hey Yes private relay is already turned off, and I have re-downloaded the profiles multiple times. For now, i have just deleted the configuration altogether and started fresh. It seems to be working now, however, will report in a few days how it holds.

      DynamicNotSlow Some people had problems in the past and as you stated it's fixed but just in case they didn't update, wanted to make sure it was an extensive troubleshooting so he could get going quickly.
