DNS requests taking 200-1000+ms recently

My PiHole resolver is reporting replies are taking 200ms to over 1000ms to reply lately and I have noticed a corresponding significant increase in page resource loading also. Is this a NextDNS-side issue or is my local resolver (encrypted DNS resolver, knotResolver)?

    I updated the system and did a reboot. Same result. Double-checked the URL/IP combo in the config, same result.

    It appears to somehow have been my ISP and/or Modem.

       Unexpectedly the bottleneck was somehow my modem. A connection reset seems to have solved it, so all good!
