Feature Request: Enhanced Rewrite with Split DNS Functionality

I would like to suggest an enhanced rewrite feature that includes split DNS functionality.

 

The idea is to base the rewrite on the caller's IP address. If the IP address is identified as associated, the requests should be resolved with an internal IP. Otherwise, they should be resolved with an external IP or even return NXDOMAIN.

 

Additionally, it would be beneficial if the rewrite could optionally handle wildcards on child domains, rather than mandatorily as it does now. It would also be useful to allow the selection of the type of record (A, CNAME, etc.).

 

This feature would be incredibly useful for managing internal and external DNS requests more efficiently and securely.

    This is already how it works. Rewrite only applies if the profile is linked and if you enter an IP it will be a A/AAAA if it is a domain it will use a CNAME.
